let me say this right off: there is no social-media magic bullet. None. I know, because I spent months trying to find one. I have been using social media in its various forms for last decade but its onlt the past year and a half that i stepped up my efforts and the complete fulcrum is generated.

I read countless articles, went to seminars, even bought a book or two. And what it boils down to is this:
You have to do the actual work. Shortcuts are useless. You need to forge real relationships, you need to engage your audience, and you need to build that audience organically (which is to say, without being overbearing or spamming people).
In other words, it’s just like every other aspect of being an artist. You need to invest a lot of time and effort, but eventually that investment will pay off. Patience, obviously, is key.
I know social media can be daunting. There is a lot to learn – especially in terms of etiquette – but a lot of it is common sense, too.

One tip which i want to share with all my fellow digital marketers :- Do not use social media for daunt promotions, engage your audience. I understand how critical it is to put up your MDs demand on Fb and Twitter but at the same time, do realise that you are loosing onto that very vital interaction levels often defined as interaction rates.

Now lets start with this small work Shop:-
A) talk to your audience, Do not talk at them :- Your followers are a key part of your online marketing platform, so be nice. The word-of-mouth that they generate will put your art in front of new people. So say thank you, don’t be rude, and don’t get the idea that you’re a celebrity (unless you actually are, of course) just because you have a lot of followers. Also follow your Brand DNA.

B) Flow of content is key. If you want people to keep coming back, you have to give them a reason to do so. Ask yourself, what am I giving in return? Social media is becoming more about conversation and collaboration than about the hard sell.

C) Do not run too much of contests, rather try to build a Social Brand around causes, Do not consider the youth of today selfish. If this was the case then Anna would have not generated the response he has at this very moment, with the majority of the participants below 25, that is the same group which haunts Face book and twitter.

D) Do not just build causes which are useless, like Aircel did "Save a Tiger" here people kept on clicking the Like button and there Poor tigers kept on reducing because nothing was improved in their condition, what eventually improved was the Aircel Brand recall for a few days. But that could not sustain, rather ask for donations which may be in services, Kind or Cash. Just to make you understand this point, In Golden Temple People come and donate their services which is the main reason for why Golden Temple stands so tall even after the Time trails.

In my next section i will be introducing a few phenomenal tools for you.
